Anti-Slip Plywood Sheets of BIRCH

The product consists in a waterproof plywood sheet made of birch veneers, surface treated with phenolic resin according to PN 003–49–01. It represents the plywood of very high quality characterised with its high density.

  • All-birch plywood
  • “Combi” plywood – outer veneers are of birch, while poplar and birch veneers are laid in alternate in the inner part of the sheet.

Foil

Deep brown phenolic film of 120g/m2 square weight, but the 220 g/m2 version may be supplied on request.

Bonding

See: ČSN EN 314–2 – Plywood sheets – Bonding Quality; Bonding Class 3 (AW 100, BFU 100 to DIN 68 705) – plywood sheets bonded to this class are often called also “exterior” ones as they are designed for exterior applications and humid environments. The plywood sheets are safe in terms of health protection and are classified in the Formaldehyde Release Class A to ČSN EN 1084, corresponding to the E1 emission class (Formaldehyde Release Class) according to the method of gas analysis; Anti-slip BEECH plywood sheets are waterproof plywood sheets made of broadleaved and coniferous wood species surface treated with phenolic foils to PN 003–49–01.

Side edges are provided with a waterproofing coat. Bonding quality shall comply with the requirements of Bonding Class 3 to ČSN EN 314–2 (EW 100). The plywood sheet of this type are suitable for use under the conditions of Hazard Class 3 to ČSN EN 335–3 (exterior environments). The plywood sheets are classified in the Formaldehyde Release Class A (E1) to ČSN EN 1084 and possess C2 Flammability Class to ČSN 73 0810 (medium flammable). They are well comparable to the products referred to DIN 68705–3 and DIN 68792 standards.
