Batten Plywood
Batten plywood boards are bonded boards consisting of a batten central board covered with one or two structural (sliced) veneers on both sides. They are made of round broadleaved timberwood and coniferous sawnwood. According to their design they may be divided into three-ply, five-ply and doubled five-ply ones. The grain directions in doubled five-ply boards are parallel, while five-ply boards are made with the direction of grain in alternate plies at right angles.
